ReplyDeleteMy son (now 10) loves to sail - this year he & his partner we're on their own for the first time (he's always had an adult with him before this summer) - it was so amazing - they grow up so fast - treasure each moment -

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that about your son + his joy in sailing! Reading that gives me chills because it reminds me of my own sailing as a child + of feeling that same joy +freedom.
Next year there are mini sunfish camps for 7 year olds...the real deal like your son does is at 8. I could not be more excited for the Monks! These are very lucky littles!

I love how reverent he looks standing there on the dock. :) I grew up in the sailing world (on the coast of SC) and miss it dearly. Happy weekend!
