ReplyDeleteYou know, it is not bad for an antique! I can;t believe someone was throwing this out! The upholstery neds to be replaced, but otherwise it is solid and weighs a ton!
My kiddos got such a kick out of my mum and I hauling it into the truck...I just wish this moment included my mister's face when he came home ans saw it sitting just there on our back patio!

How lucky! It's just what I could do with!

ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my blog. I am very sad to leave and no it's completely across country where we'll be moving. But the move is temporary and we may still come back. It's all dependent on jobs. Either way we are forging ahead. And I'm grateful to be able to be right in the middle of the change of seasons this year.

ReplyDeletemy treasure indeed! At first I was thinking of refinishing it myself, but I like it so much that I don't want to mess it up! So for now it will stay as is until I either read up more on uphostery, or save enough pennies to pay someone else...no rush!
:)
