October Weekend II

This weekend, we kicked off what is sure to be the first of many Halloween celebrations at ye olde town yacht club. Please, check any "yacht club" preconceptions at the door, as most of this club's events are run by two fabulous men + are supported by the many young people with children who are members. I told the boys later that they had officially "ruined the children"; that this party was so over the top wonderful with the games, decorations + prizes, that the littles would never look at a party the same way again!!
What is a party without a little limbo? ...Sorry, I left out the photos of the adult limbo. Ugh, but here is me, shameless dragged into a jitterbug danceoff between "the boys". Thankfully I was wearing flats, because these boys could dance....I don't think I have spun around and laughed so much since I was a child. I'm pretty sure we won. A little mummy action, amongst other fun games...

Some hokey pokey...and lots of parents wearing huge smiles

A wonderful time was had by all! And c'mon everyone, how much do you love my little headband head-dress? A one too many bags of peanut M&M's {and a couple of top shelf cosmo's} had this mama going for a jog when we got home to sweat the sugar out...but isn't that what Halloween is all about? I can't wait to see what the boys come up with for the adult Halloween Party next weekend...but for now, I'll just soak in my littles, hysterical over how much fun they had + in their glory over their little bags of goodies.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
xo.
